Hard to believe, but I only have two more months until I have two kids. All is going well, but I have to say, I've grown much bigger this time around. People ask me, "When are you due again?" I tell them and then they give me this look that means, "Wow, you're really big already and you're not due 'till when!??" So far, I've taken it in stride, but we'll see how I feel in 6 weeks or so. My Dr. is pretty matter of fact and tells me, "Well, you're a small person." Even the Kindergarten students are starting to look at me funny. The bravest of the bunch saying, "You have a baby!"
Today, I decided to go through my clothes again so it's not such an adventure trying to find something to wear in the mornings. Lilly "helped" by crying for no reason because we woke her up from her late in the day nap. Then, she tripped trying to go down the stairs in my high heels. Luckily she didn't really get hurt. Meanwhile, I was trying on shirts realizing that most of the shirts I have put away are too short, too tight, too big on the top, or just look rediculous. I was looking in a full length mirror after each new item of clothing, shocking myself with the size of my stomach. The good and bad news is, I've pretty much just gained weight in the stomach, which means clothes really aren't going to fit my strange shape and that I must be having a 24 pound baby. After the 10th shirt that went in the "no" pile, Lilly says, " Maybe Daddy buy you a new shirt!" A handful of failed shirts later, she continued with, "No, that doesn't fit!" Gotta love the honesty of an almost three year old. I know it's all for a good cause, but I just hope I don't get too much bigger.
