Sound Bytes,

I'mLillyI'm LillyI'm LillyI'mLillyI'mLilly! ItwoItwoItwoItwo!--How Lilly introduces herself at the park.

Skeeto bite, owie--An alternative way for Lilly to meet new people.

Belly hat--my bra

(While I was gettingdressed) Your bellies! I ki-an (crying, pretending to be a baby). She then smacks her lips remember the good old days of nursing. I tell daddy bout dat!

Why? What doing? (repeat)-Why ask once when 10 times are better?

Lilly, do you want to go to the park? "Oh, my goodness. The fark, the fark! Hoo hoo!"

"Happy Mos Day, Mama!" "Happy Mos Day, Daddy!" I've heard this every day since Mother's day (unprompted). She's so enthusiastic. We've told her that Father's day is coming up. She says, Dora's comin up, too! Al finally figured out that this came from TV when they say, coming up next is Dora the Explorer.

Lilly, Daddy's birthday is tomorrow. No! Lilly birthday! Sorry to tell you, but Lilly has officially taken away everyone's birthdays.

Going to the 5K she was so excited about holding the sign and would not give it up so I could tape it to the cardboard. We get to the race and everyone starts coming. Lilly, say "Go, go, go" Stop, stop, stop! Followed with, I no like you runners! and topped off with I pinch you runners as she made a pinching motion as the runners went by. As we were going home, I sit in corner, outside!

Save big money Mindards! She says this anytime she see a minards commercial or randomly throughout the day. al thought it would be funny to teach her about save big money and now that there's a playground there, she really likes it. We approached the parking lot and she says, "Save big money! I found it!"

I no mant to! Anytime she doesn't want to do something. Similar to I no like _______ whatever/whoever I was suggesting.

Today Lilly was playing racing in the driveway. My job was to say get ready, get set, go and she ran about ten feet and then wouls say, One more time, again! Repeat about 10 times. Lilly gets to me and I told her that she won the race (against herself). "I two, I two, I two!"

Easter Bunny, coming? Last time she asked was last week when she woke up. "I wan go Easter Bunny house!" Tell me folks, where does the Easter bunny live?

Lilly holding up an MP3 player to her ear. I need number. Who are you going to call? I call Danta! (santa) Santa doesn't have a cell phone. Why? Because he's busy making toys. Why? ______________ Why? __________Why? __________Why? ...........

Taking shampoo and conditioner from the shelf on the tub. Hair products Auntie Lora hasn't even been around lately so I don't know where she got that one.

I want to pet you bunny! she says as the semi-tame town bunny took one hop for each step Lilly got closer. Probably a good idea for the bunny.

Not realy a sound byte, but funny anyway. Lilly wanted to see the fish at "Mall Mart" as she calls it. She made the same funny face she makes for the baby at daycare. I tried to explain to her that fish don't really know how to think things are funny but I thought it was hilarious.

I wan mommy beans. What she used to call edimame. Proof that Dora can get kids to eat anything!

As I was discussing how much sugar is in Yoplait, Lilly chimes in. This is Elicious! I like that tugar (sugar). The next day, I wan dat tugar!

Other people can understand Lilly a lot of the time. I can almost always understand her because if I don't, she'll repeat herself a few or 50 times until I do!

Good thing she's so cute because that outweighs the exhausting moments. It's so nice to be home with her in the summer!
