I looked back at my old post, in which I reported that Lilly is really crawling now. Correction, NOW she is REALLY crawling. She is super fast and can stand by pushing up on a wall. Al had a dream she was walking (then started running). I had a dream she was running away from me and I wasn't fast enough to catch her.
This weekend, we almost completely baby proofed the living room (at least I hope so). Al tied the floor lamp to the wall after he reported she was like a "monkey trying to shake bananas out of the tree." I saw her do it, and his description is pretty accurate. She shakes it as hard as she can, grits her teeth, and makes a sound that really sounds like it could be a monkey. Corner padding, tying furniture to the wall, putting magazines away, moving everything else on the highest shelves........phew!
Lilly is also a bit like a dog. She holds toys in her mouth and shakes them. She also carries her toys from place to place in her mouth. Al couldn't help himself and played tug of war with her. She eats food underneath the table and chews up her toys (especially board books--there is a flip book with a three fingered hand that is now put away). She likes to stick out her tongue......
She standing her pulling on my leg and trying to get the computer so this will be all for now.
20 pounds of energy and curiosity--she's going to keep us on our toes!
