Lilly and I haven't been doing a lot since I got back from TX (partly due to unpacking and Al never wanting to go anywhere with a baby because I think he's worried she'll cry and bug someone but mostly due to my pretty much daily migraines--what a pain, literally!) Anyway, I ventured out to the grocery store with Lilly. I found a new way to put her in the sling (that Kristy made) which works really well. (If you're curious how it works, look here). As were tooling around the grocery store getting ingredients for freezer meals to have once I go back to work, Lilly took her arm out of the sling then grabbed onto the handle of the cart like she was pushing it. It was so cute--I wish I had a picture!
Blast from the past:
Aside from mid pregnancy when I could hardly walk around the grocery store-let alone carry anything, I never used at cart at the grocery store. Come to think of it, I didn't even carry a purse until I was newly pregnant. The only reason I started using one, was when I was newly pregnant and had to carry around a puke bag in my purse--just in case. Oh, the memories! :-)
