Lilly is was 4 months old officially yesterday and had her check up today. She's 24 inches long and 13 pounds 12 ounces. More shots today. :-( I can't imagine what it would be like to have a sick baby--I have a hard time seeing her in pain from shots every few months.
Before we were engaged and even started talking about getting married he wooed me by saying, "If things work out, 'Lady,' we're going to have big-headed twins together." He used to call me "Lady" after my "fondness" of being associated with Al as a shrine lady. Also, big heads run in Al's family. His big-headed twins proclamation was one of the first signs that he was interested in getting married. Anyway, I didn't have twins, obviously, but I do have a big-headed baby. Her head circumference is 75th percentile. I'm sure that means she'll be a genious! :-)
Here's what Lilly can do (so I don't forget): roll over to her side when placed on her back, roll over from her stomach to her back (although she's only done it once), hold her head 90 degrees when on her stomach, laugh to the William Tell Overature when daddy bounces her, chew on up to six fingers at once, sit up given support, grab onto both feet and some toys, stop crying when I come back into the room (I like it when I can see you, Mama!).... Her hair and eye color are still up for debate.
Here's what I can't do: I tried doing a sit-up yesterday. I used to be in great shape and could probaly do 50 sit ups. Guess how many I can do now.........zero......that's right folks, I can't do a single sit up. Another reason not to have a c-section.
