Lilly is so funny lately. She spent about a half hour playing play dough with Grandpa Marty. I'm not sure why he has play dough, but the fact that he has some and Lilly has some is pretty fun for her. We have the potty chair in the living room as another effort to get her to use it. She was pretending to make pizza on top of the potty. Pretty sure that's a major health code violation so her restaurant probably will get shut down!
Today, Lilly's first words this morning were, "Mommy, you're tummy's really, really big! You have a baby in your tummy!" It's a good thing I don't have a complex about gaining weight.
I took the regular mustard out of the fridge and she says, "I want spicy mustard!" What kid likes dijon mustard??? She also asks for biganer (balsamic vinegar) on her pasta.
Lilly asked when we were getting into the car, "Mommy are those pedals?" "One makes the car go and one makes it stop." Mommy, when can I have driving lessons?"
Today, we had a meeting for a student at work that is just a sweetheart but never stops talking. She has a great vocabulary but can't seem to stay on task and just wants to talk. She sounds a lot like Lilly and I wondered if I'd be on the other side of the table hearing the same kinds of things in a few years (that is, assuming the two year old behavior doesn't last through when she starts school :-)
Lilly was talking about her little sister getting her bike she didn't need anymore. I told her that I didn't think she had a little sister. "We find out about my sister when we go to restaurant" (I wonder if Oprah will be there?)
You can't say no, that's Glenna's words.
Lilly wanted me to get up so that she could give me a "clue" to tell me where her big bird costume is (which we don't have anymore but she doesn't know that). I wasn't cooperating so she said I had to "pologize" and that she needs to go to live at another house.
Lately, it's one thing after another....but pretty funny for the most part!

You are so smart to document all of these funnies. We always think that we'll remember them, but that's just not the case. That Lilly is just so darn cute! I hope that you're surviving the winter well.
It is HILARIOUS that your dad has play dough!
