9 months and Counting

How is it that's Lilly has been around as long as I was pregnant. She's heading toward little girl and moving away from baby. Here's a snipit of what she's been up to:
Lilly has just recently learned to wave. She even waved to my mom on the webcam today. She also waves to the baby in the mirror.
Lilly is eating several different foods now. She never did eat baby food but most finger foods are OK with her. I've made some variety packs to put in the freezer to pull out so that she has a variety of foods to choose from. I've learned the lesson that more food equals more in the diaper. Glenna was right....she really does need a bigger diaper.
Teeth--Lilly has three teeth on the bottom and three on the top with one more top tooth so close to poking through.
Crawling?--No, but she's getting closer. Lilly spins around on her belly by pushing with her hands and feet. She pushes herself backwards on her belly but not forward, yet. Usually, we'll set her down, she'll play sitting up, reach for a toy ahead of her & end up on her belly, roll a few times, roll onto her belly and scream, I say "flip over" and flip her onto her back. She'll immediately flip back onto her stomach and scream.
Did I say scream? My family was marveling at her shreiks. Some of the noises are upset sounds, but many of them are just screaming for the fun of it. When she shreiks right in my ear, it really does hurt. I think this is what you would call deafening sound. In fact, we have conversations about not making mama deaf, but it doesn't seem to help. My mom (who has talked to her share of babies, those related and random mall babies) says Lilly is the loudest baby she has ever heard.
Lilly loves to stand and is often stiff as a board if you want her to sit down. There is no way you're going to get her to bend at the waist. She looks at me, I give in and hold her hands to help her stand instead of doing what I had planned, and I fill in her end of the conversation, "I'd prefer to stand, mama."
Nine months and counting. I love you more and every day, Lilly.
