Toys & Toots

Toys

Lilly loves her toys (see above--taken a few weeks ago--she's more wild about them now). She thinks the chicken, chick and lamb are the best ever. She squeals and swats at her three little friends for up to 20 minutes. It's entertaining to watch her because she gets her whole body into it. Her legs are going almost as much as her hands. A couple days ago, Al was watching her and noticed she was trying to suck on her right hand and hit the toys with her left hand. What a little multi-tasker! If only she could bounce on my knee and eat all at the same time--now that would be great!

Toots

Usually I wake up to the sound of Lilly crying. Now and then, I wake up before she does, but not very often. The other day, I was woken up to the sound of her farting (toots, as Al calls them). They were loud enough to wake me up and went on for several minutes. How can an 11 pound baby fart so loudly? She also had burps and toots when Pastor Dan came to visit to talk about her baptism next weekend. Hopefully she won't be gassy in church. I guess we can hold off from sending her to etiquitte school just yet.

Updates:

--Good news, I really wasn't hungover from two drinks. Bad news, I just thought I wasn't feeling well from the drinks, but really it was because of a migraine. They've been creeping back, but I've just been in denial.

--I have a couple of options for baptism outfits (for me) but coming from a family with two sisters, I couldn't possibly decide without input. Brandy and Lora--this is where you come in.
